This month Wellington proudly celebrates its second birthday as a fair trade city. Fair trade businesses and supporters gathered last week over cups of fair trade coffee at Kapai to launch the 2011 Fair Trade Buying Guide, Buying Fair Trade In & Around the Greater Wellington Region ,an updated list of over 100 cafes, restaurants, retail outlets and supermarkets selling certified fair trade products in the Wellington region.
The guide is printed with support from Commonsense Organics and can be found in fair trade restaurants, cafes, wholesalers and retail outlets across the Wellington region. You can also find it online, right here: Buying Fair Trade In & Around the Greater Wellington Region.
Buying Fair Trade In & Around the Greater Wellington Region is a fantastic guide for finding a fair trade latte, grabbing fruit or buying handcrafts or an amazing tee shirt. It’s the perfect guide to an ethical Christmas and beyond.
